Guest Services
Part-time/Seasonal
Join our team as a Clarksville Cove Guest Services Representative at the Aquatic Center. This seasonal position will report directly to the Aquatic Manager and provide support in admissions, concessions, and on the pool deck. Enjoy a dynamic work environment with flexible hours during the late May to mid-August period.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an admissions cashier, handling payments, answering phone calls, and providing information to guests.
- Sell merchandise from the admission kiosk, ensuring a positive shopping experience for visitors.
- Act as a concessions cashier, processing orders and serving food and drinks.
- Assist in cooking as needed and efficiently prepare a variety of beverages.
- Enforce splash pad, waterslide, and facility rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
- Support daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and inviting Aquatic Center.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Aquatic Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age prior to the start date.
- Previous cashier and money handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor, summer environment.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, multitasking environment.
Working Hours:
- This position is seasonal, and working hours will vary during the pre- and post-season periods.
- During the Aquatic Center’s operation from late May to mid-August, you can expect to work 25-35 hours per week.
- Candidates must be available for startup prior to the season and shutdown activities after the season.

Lifeguard
Part-time/Seasonal
Clarksville Parks & Recreation is seeking energetic and reliable individuals for the position of Lifeguard. As a lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patrons and maintaining a secure environment. This seasonal position reports directly to the Aquatic Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor and guard the lap pool to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Provide constant supervision and enforce facility and health department rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while enforcing rules and discipline when necessary.
- Supervise splash pads and slides when not actively guarding the lap pool.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy facility during downtimes.
- Display quick response and efficient emergency procedures, including providing first aid when needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the public.
- Adaptability to work in a high-energy, multitasking environment.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain certification by opening day.
