Clarksville Cove Facility Rules
General Rules
- Children 14 years of age and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children. Lifeguards are responsible for water safety and emergency response.
- Children and non-swimmers must remain within arm’s reach of a supervising adult while in the lap pool.
- Guests must follow all directions from lifeguards and staff.
- Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to use the body slide and tube slide.
- Appropriate swimwear is required.
- Approved swim aids are permitted. Coast Guard-approved life jackets, puddle jumpers, and arm flotation devices may be used as directed by staff. Inflatable rafts, inner tubes, and oversized flotation devices are not permitted.
- Diving, flipping, running, pushing, dunking, horseplay, and other unsafe behavior are prohibited.
- Outside food, beverages, coolers, and glass containers are not permitted.
- Food and beverages purchased from Clarksville Cove concessions must be consumed in designated areas.
- Smoking, vaping, and electronic cigarettes are permitted only in designated smoking areas.
- Alcohol, illegal drugs, and chewing gum are prohibited. Guests who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be admitted.
- Pets are not permitted inside the facility.
- Clarksville Parks & Recreation is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
- Complimentary lockers are available; guests must provide their own lock. Locks left overnight will be removed.
- Re-entry is not permitted.
- Management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest who violates facility rules or creates a safety concern.
- Failure to comply with facility rules may result in removal from the facility without refund.
Health & Safety
- Clarksville Cove operates in accordance with Indiana Department of Health regulations for public aquatic facilities.
- Guests who have experienced diarrhea, vomiting, or other contagious illness within the previous two (2) weeks should not enter the water.
- Guests with open wounds, infectious sores, or communicable skin conditions may be restricted from using aquatic attractions.
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper while in the water.
- Spitting, blowing the nose, or other unsanitary behavior in the water is prohibited.
- Any fecal, vomit, blood, or contamination incident may require the temporary closure of an attraction or pool.
- Staff may restrict participation or remove any guest whose condition or behavior presents a sanitation or safety concern.
Weather & Facility Closures
- Clarksville Cove reserves the right to delay opening, temporarily close attractions, or close the facility due to weather, dangerous conditions, maintenance issues, programming needs, low attendance, capacity limitations, or other operational concerns.
- Once admission has been purchased and a guest has entered the facility, refunds will not be issued for weather-related closures or early facility closures.
- When lightning is observed or thunder is heard, all pools and aquatic attractions will close immediately.
- Pools and attractions will remain closed until at least 30 minutes have passed since the last sighting of lightning or sound of thunder.
- During severe weather, guests may be directed to designated shelter areas and must follow all staff instructions until conditions are deemed safe.
- Individual attractions may be restricted or closed due to weather, dangerous conditions, maintenance issues, programming, low attendance, or capacity limitations.
